Request for Proposals: Get Reel Mental Health Film Fest Scholarship

We are very pleased to announce that we have received funding to bring back our Get Reel Mental Health Film Fest in 2022, this time bigger and better!

We are calling for emerging filmmakers across Canada to submit proposals for a short film, to be premiered at the festival in spring 2022.

Chosen by our jury, two teams will be awarded $5,000 each to support the creation of their short films.

Proposals are due on December 15

Ground Breaking Campaign for 54 Wolseley

On September 10th, 2020, we broke ground on our future home of Stella’s Place! Community members spoke to celebrate this occasion.

“Stella’s Place means community. It’s not the place that makes it so wonderful, it’s the group of people in it that makes it such a safe haven.”
