Get Involved

Get Involved

Maybe the most effective therapy is one which includes the individual being part of Stella’s Place’s ongoing development. Even if it’s little things, being able to see my own reflection in the programs we have developed that may in turn care for me seem pretty powerful in developing self-determination. Stella’s Place Community Member

Are you interested in being part of a program design group at Stella’s Place?

As we are constantly building, refining and adding new programs, and revising what we are doing based on what we hear from participants, there are always lots of ways to get involved. Some of our past and current groups at Stella’s include:

Peer Conversations Group

Our largest group of young adult ‘brains’ that built the Peer Support Program at Stella’s.

Peer Support Training Program Curriculum Design Group

Online Platform and App Co-design Group

A group of tech wizards (some of them self declared nerds) designing the Stella’s online platform and app (PDF) for Peer Support.

Evaluation Working Group

A group of research brains and inspired learners working with research and evaluation experts to develop the Stella’s Evaluation Framework to ensure that our offerings are always relevant to young adults.

onTRACK Co-Design Team

A group of wellness heads who are designing the fitness and wellness program that is offered in partnership with the JCC.

Possibilities Co-design Team

A group that is designing the Clinical, Recovery and Wellness programs at Stella’s Place.

Pet Therapy & Animal Assisted Therapy

We will be running a pilot project soon and want to know your thoughts on how animals can affect mental health. Stay tuned for updates!
