Programs to Support

Stella’s Place Clinical, Wellness & Recovery Programs

Stella’s Place will offer a range of programming to help young adults transition from treatment to recovery to recognizing and realizing their potential. Each of these programs will involve clinical experts, peer supporters, partnerships as well as the training, support and evaluation resources to ensure effective and responsive delivery.

Specialized Clinical Services

Stella’s Place offers comprehensive assessment and clinical mental health treatment services designed specifically for young adults suffering from anxiety and mood disorders and other mental health issues. Specialized streams will be available for young adults needing support and responses related to gender identity, eating disorders, trauma and substance misuse.

Peer Support

We offer structured opportunities for clients to receive consistent sustained support - both online and in person - from peers who have lived experience with mental health challenges and recovery. Stella’s Place also delivers Peer Support Training, so that those in support roles have the skills, knowledge and ongoing support to really make a difference.

360° Wellness

Recognizing the importance of physical wellness to mental health, Stella’s Place offers fitness and nutrition programming along with mindfulness and yoga classes.

Stella’s Studio

Stella’s Place Arts Studio offers a variety of opportunities for young people to explore their creativity through visual and language arts and music.

Back on Track Employment Services

We will support young adults as they transition to employment and furthering their education.

All these programs are dependent on diverse funding, and continue to need your support in order to serve more young adults.  Programs will take place at Stella’s Place home base, a welcoming space at 18 Camden Street, just south of Queen Street West at Spadina, easily accessible by public transit. Some programs are also delivered through collaboration with partners in community facilities as relevant (e.g. Community Centres, College and University campuses).
