Canada Donates $50,000 to Stella’s Place to Mark the Birth of Prince Louis

The Office of The Prime Minister released a statement on Tuesday highlighting a donation of $50,000 to each Stella’s Place and Jack.org to mark the birth of His Royal Highness Prince Louis of Cambridge. We are delighted with Canada’s investment in young adult mental health and are honoured to be one of the recipient charities.

To celebrate the birth of the Prince, Canada “will also donate $50,000 to Stella’s Place, an organization that helps young adults better understand their mental health and how to manage it. In addition, we are gifting Prince Louis a traditional Haida blanket – a memento of his parents’ recent visit to Haida Gwaii. – Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada

The Canadian Government, Justin Trudeau, and Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are all undertaking valuable work to highlight mental health, and supporting organizations that are working to improve mental health care.

The Duke and Duchess are spearheading the U.K.-based charity, Heads Together, which focuses on tackling the stigma and changing the conversation about mental health as well as raising funds for innovative new mental health services.
