Learning at Stella's Place

The Learning and Development Department at Stella’s Place was launched in 2024, in order to deliver a comprehensive training curriculum, in the form of workshops, seminars, training courses, and Communities of Practice.

Our demographic spans from local, provincial, and national audiences, including teachers, medical professionals, social workers, peer supporters, and any stakeholder vested in improving mental health among youth.

We aim to share the knowledge and successes Stella’s Place has experienced in its 12 years of supporting young adult mental health, teaching the fundamentals of Mental Health, Peer Support, self-care and resilience.

As one of the leading agencies that delivers peer support training, we offer numerous training opportunities, and facilitate our Community of Practice, creating space for peer supporters to explore effective strategies for integrating their lived experience into their organization’s service model.

“Stella’s Place taught me the power of just listening to people and making them feel heard”
